iTrip messed up my iPod – HELP!?
I have an iPod 5th Gen 30gb. Recently bought a Kensington iTrip and ever since using it have not been able to turn off my iPod. Just to let you know, I have done the following:
1) Reset the iPod using the two button press and hold
2) Updated all the relevant software
3) Restored my iPod’s factory settings 5 times – still nothing
For some reason, when the iPod is plugged into a charger it will turn off (with the charge symbol on screen but not lit). However, when unplugged, it often freezes on this symbol, then I have to reset before I can listen to it.
A message often appears when I plug in the Itrip – something about song transfer using Firewire – and to attach the iPod using the USB cable. Completely irrelevant!!
Basically I think it’s screwed. I’ve done everything that has been suggested – just wondered if anyone has experienced a similar ‘TRIP’ hahaha.
Help…please?
Probably messed up Kensington transmitter. Send it back.
btw, Kensington doesn’t make iTrip…Griffin does…and seeing as you got Kensington, I’d expect it…I trust Griffin more than Kensington =/.
