Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath Of Ashardalon

Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath Of Ashardalon

$69.99

“A heavy shadow falls across the land, cast by a dark spire that belches smoke and oozes fiery lava. A cave mouth leads to a maze of tunnels and chambers, and deep within this monster-infested labyrinth lurks the most terrifying creature of all: a red dragon!” – Wizards of the Coast Do you miss the days when you could dedicate an entire weekend to playing D&D with your friends? Us too. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to hop in and out of a D&D style adventure with whoever happens to be sitting around on a Friday night? Now you can! Wrath of Ashardalon is an absolutely fantastic adventure with all the dragon-slaying, trap-finding, and d20-rolling you love but smooshed into an hour. Allow us to gush about the reasons why you’ll love it, too. Feels like D&D, but rules-light: The map, the minis, the powers, the rolling of the sacred polyhedral die. It’s all there. But all the fiddly little rules and numbers that make D&D intimidating to newbies are gone. It’s the perfect game for initiating your non-gamer spouse, friend, or kid to D&D. Cooperative Play: Players work toward a common goal, with each class having a skill that benefits the party. There’s no DungeonMaster, either. As monster cards are drawn, the player who drew the monster controls its movement and attacks. Everyone gets to be the DM! Everything Included: This box is HUGE. 40 plastic heroes and monsters, 13 sheets of interlocking cardstock dungeon tiles, 200 encounter and treasure cards, a rulebook, a scenario book, and a d20. Never The Same Game Twice: The interlocking dungeon tiles are shuffled for each game, making the dragon’s lair different each time you visit. For each game, you choose a scenario from the scenario book to determine which special room tiles are in your stack and what your party’s goal will be. Will you fight the red dragon or the kobold lord and his minions? Every scenario is a different gameplay experience and some are much more deadly than others. The 200 encounter, monster, and treasure cards also add to the unique flavor of every game. Also awesome? Wrath of Ashardalon is playable with anywhere between one and five players. Play it solo, play it with your significant other, play it with the whole family or your gaming group. The flexibility is what truly makes it phenomenal and why it will never get dusty in our game closet. It is also fully compatible with Castle Ravenloft, so if you own both, you can mix and match the sets for even more replay value. Product Specifications CAUTION: Choking hazard. Small parts. Not for children under 3. Recommended ages: 12 – adult Dungeons & Dragons board game featuring the red dragon Ashardalon Explore the lair, get stabbed by kobolds, kill the dragon! Feels like D&D, but rules-light (great for newbies to D&D!) Cooperative play lets everyone do their part to achieve the party goal Every player gets to control monsters – no DM necessary Modular game board, scenario book, and cards ensure every game is different Design…

Cleric (Dungeons

Cleric (Dungeons

$101.96

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The cleric is one of the standard playable character class in the Dungeons Dragons fantasy roleplaying game. In the game, clerics are versatile figures, both capable in combat and skilled in the use of divine magic. Clerics are powerful healers due to the large number of healing and curative magics available to them. With divinelygranted abilities over life or death, they are also able to repel or control undead creatures. Whether the cleric repels or controls undead is dependent on its alignment. It is the only class to be in every version of Dungeons Dragons without a name change. In the first edition of Dungeons Dragons, the cleric character class was a simulation of a soldier devotee of a sacred order who received spell powers from divine sources, to be a spellcaster who was not a magician and who also had physical power between that of the magicuser and the fighter (for instance, was able to use all armor and shields). Barbarian (Dungeons

Barbarian (Dungeons

$81.25

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The barbarian is a playable character class in the Dungeons Dragons fantasy roleplaying game. The barbarian is based on Robert E. Howards Conan the Barbarian, Gardner Foxs Kothar and to a lesser extent Fritz Liebers Fafhrd. An unofficial version of the barbarian character class was introduced in issue #4 (Dec/Jan 1977/1978) of the Games Workshop publication White Dwarf for the Dungeons Dragons Basic Set (2nd version) rules. The article was later reprinted in The Best of White Dwarf Articles #1, in 1980. This version of the barbarian character class differs significantly from the one published for the 1st edition of Dungeons Dragons. For example, this version used d6 hit dice, had a prime requisite (constitution), had severe armor restrictions, could be played as any race, and was considered a class unto itself (that is, it was not considered a subclass of fighter). The 1st edition version, on the other hand, used d12 hit dice, had no prime requisites, had no armor restrictions (other than not being able to use magical armor), could only be human, and was considered a fighter subclass. Author: Miller, Frederic P./ Vandome, Agnes F./ McBrewster, John Binding Type: Paperback Number of Pages: 116 Publication Date: 2010/12/22 Language: English Dimensions: 6.00 x 9.02 x 0.28 inches

Anyone out there still playing the Talisman RPG board game?

Just got myself a 2nd Edition copy from ebay, used to play it back in the 80s. It hasnt lost any of its appeal, great game. Anyone out there still playing it? Opinions on it, if you are an ex player? Anyone use the 3rd or 4th editions? How do they compare?
And also am looking for any of the 2nd Edition expansions (Timescape, City, Dungeon, Expansion, Adventure or Dragons) but am not willing to pay the amounts they go for on ebay (as much as £100 per set!!!) Anyone have an unused set, any condition considered?
who would win – have a ps3 thanks, please try and stay on topic if its not too taxing for you

Used to, not now though.
