What you put on your resume depends on what kind of job you want. If you want a CAD job, knowing Visual Studio or Linux isn’t an advantage.
If you want a software engineering job, then you have to state what platforms and tools you know. If you want to go into Unix/Linux programming, Visual Studio won’t do you any good.
Your resume should be a list of jobs and/or projects you have done, what tools you used to complete them and responsibilities you have had. Even non tech jobs that demonstrate responsibility and reliability will be helpful.
Check with your colleges career office for help. They might be able to give you help in making a resume geared towards your needs and career goals. They may also be able to set you up with a co-op or internship to help you get started on your career path.
Finally, talk to your professors and see if you can use them for job references. They can assess your abilities.
